Hello, I'm Maria Isabel "Liz" Carranza, founder of LizCares.

I was born in Mexico City and worked as a biochemical engineer in hospitals, rural communities, and universities before moving to Guanajuato more than 30 years ago. Here, I raised my family, directed international programs for Foreign Universities, and volunteered with local hospitals and non-profit organizations. Today, I use my experience to help expats, retirees, and visitors in Guanajuato connect with quality medical care, navigate emergencies, and plan for the future.
